One year photos

We went and got Hannah's photos taken today - there were some cute ones, but overall, she wasn't as smiley today. In non-photo news, Hannah is getting more and more comfortable standing and walking, and she sprouted two new teeth!

More one year photos & "outtakes"

She kept slumping in the rocking chair when she wanted out - she looks sad and guilty!

Evil baby! : )

Walking, Sharing, and Playing

Hannah has been walking more and more on her own! This past weekend, she took three steps at one time, which is the most she's taken so far. The video below shows two steps...so exciting!

Here are a few recent photos & videos:

Hannah loves watching herself...so vain!
Fun with daddy!

New skill: Hannah's new favorite thing to do is share things with us - toys, food, her sippy cup...she thinks it is so funny!

11 Month Update

I haven't had an opportunity to talk about Hannah's development lately, so here are a few highlights & photos to break up all the information:

- No, Hannah is not actually drinking that Diet Coke...but she sure knows what to do with it!
- She can say "all done", "uh oh", "no", and "dada". She has repeated other words once or twice, like "bless you", "thank you", "hi" and "bye bye".
-If we say "Where's dada?" or "Where's Zoey", she looks right at Jay or the kitty. Mom, sadly, is still a work in progress.

-She took her first solo step a few days ago, and is getting really good at standing, cruising, and walking with her walking toys. She'll be brave enough to walk relatively soon!
-She is throwing tantrums when we take something away from her or when we stop her from doing something. It's really delightful. She arches her back, cries like her life is ending...SO dramatic.

-She's getting better at giving hugs/kisses, waving, and pointing. Still a work in progress!

-It's cool to see her figure things out. She gets REALLY proud of herself and looks at us like whatever she has learned is the coolest thing ever. Tonight, she figured out how to squirt water from her ducky tub toy and she thought she was hilarious. : )

-She's getting really good with different finger foods. She likes deli meat, cheese crumbles, bread, waffles, puffs, cheerios, veggie/cheese sticks, pear sticks, bananas, and more.

-For a week or two, she slept from 7pm - 8am without waking up once. We were SO excited...until she regressed. Now, she is waking up 1-3 times a night again and wakes up for good around 6-6:30. She has also been taking just one big nap at daycare (3 hours).

-There's so much more...she is incredibly fun right now! I wish I could have some of her energy; it seems like she has plenty to spare. The video below shows one way she gets rid of some of it. : )

New Years

Elisabeth, Joe, and Amelia came over for New Years this year, and the babies (and adults!) had lots of fun. They especially loved bathtime - check out the videos & pics:
