Grandma's Visit

My mom came to visit a few weekends ago while Jay and I went to the Lions game. Hannah had so much fun with her! She brought Hannah her very own broom and dustpan set...what more could a girl want? : )

Dada's Birthday

We made Jay a brownie-cookie cake for his birthday - it was Hannah's first baking experience with mama.  LOTS of fun!

First Show

We took Hannah to the circus a few weekends ago - it was her first experience going to a show.  She did pretty well!  It was at the Palace, and we mostly went because we won four free tickets. She loved the beginning (when the lights went out, she got all excited and kept saying, 'scary!!') and the opening parade of all the acts and animals. When there was a lot going on, she was into it.  When there were only one or two people onstage, she was restless and getting herself into trouble.  She got up and down from her seat, my lap, and Jay's lap about a million times. Her snack, lemonade, and stickers bought us about 20 extra minutes, so we at least made it to intermission. It was an interesting experience, but she is still too young to fully enjoy shows!

Coloring

Hannah's current favorite things to do are coloring and stickers. We spend LOTS of time each day doing both activities, and we have LOTS of artwork to prove it! It is helping her learn colors (she still messes them up somtimes, but she always tries to tell me what color she is using). Thankfully, she is still impressed with my lousy drawings of kitties, flowers, circles, triangles, squares, smiles, hearts, stars, and pumpkins (her frequent requests)...
