This past weekend was so hot that we filled up the kiddie pool for the first time since last summer. Hannah had so much fun! The three of us stayed in or around the pool for over two hours! We are looking forward to a lot more relaxing days like that one :)

| The towel turned into a pool toy....she dunked the entire thing and then sucked the water out of it. Ew. |
Swimming with dada:
Every year at school, one of our science classes hatches and cares for baby chicks and ducks. Students take them to their classes (I
love hearing shrill PEEP PEEP PEEPS while teaching) and take them home overnight. I decided to bring one home for Hannah last night - she really liked it! She touched it (mostly with one finger only) and loved looking at its beak & eyes, watching it eat, and seeing it in the grass. She kept trying to get it to follow and play with her. She really wanted to hold it, but never quite got up the nerve. The only issue was when the chick would walk towards her - she would instantly start sobbing and hide behind Jay.
