This past weekend was so hot that we filled up the kiddie pool for the first time since last summer.  Hannah had so much fun! The three of us stayed in or around the pool for over two hours! We are looking forward to a lot more relaxing days like that one :)

The towel turned into a pool toy....she dunked the entire thing and then sucked the water out of it. Ew.

Swimming with dada:

Every year at school, one of our science classes hatches and cares for baby chicks and ducks. Students take them to their classes (I love hearing shrill PEEP PEEP PEEPS while teaching) and take them home overnight. I decided to bring one home for Hannah last night - she really liked it! She touched it (mostly with one finger only) and loved looking at its beak & eyes, watching it eat, and seeing it in the grass. She kept trying to get it to follow and play with her. She really wanted to hold it, but never quite got up the nerve. The only issue was when the chick would walk towards her - she would instantly start sobbing and hide behind Jay.

Mother's Day Weekend

Grandma and Grandpa Vought came over for Mother's Day weekend.  They got to spend Thursday evening and all day Friday with Hannah so that Jay & I could attend his Teacher of the Year banquet for Oakland County (congrats!!). Here are some photos/videos from the weekend.  Check out her hair...it's finally long enough to pull off some messy pigtails!
She keeps stealing my spray bottle, so we put it to good use by spraying all the plants. : )

Signature silly face

She loves skirts! This cute skirt was previously Nora's. I love it!
 Fun at the subdivision park...

Want a good leg workout idea? Try teeter-tottering with someone MUCH smaller than you...

I love this video!  My mom said this would be the first book she could "read", and she was right!

Henry's 1st Birthday

We spent last weekend at Amy & Andy's house to celebrate Henry's 1st birthday! The girls had so much fun playing with each other, and Henry was in good spirits all day (he always is!). We had a great time!
Jay turned into a giant pile of stuffed animals!
It must've looked fun.....Nora and Hannah wanted to do it, too!

Some very focused kazoo-blowing

Look! I think there's more cake over there!

Small car, big fun!
