Christmas #1: Our House

We had our family Christmas with Hannah a few days early. It was so much fun to see her reaction to all her presents! The princesses were a big hit, as was Doc McStuffins. We had so much fun celebrating with her!

Holiday Party at School

We decorated cookies for Hannah's Christmas party. They were absolutely huge and very misshapen, but they were yummy and fun to decorate!

 

 

Happy Birthday, Amelia!

We went to Elisabeth and Joe's to celebrate Amelia's 3rd birthday in the middle of December. The girls had a lot of fun playing, and we had a lot of fun at Mia's princess party! Here are some of the highlights:

A Visit With Santa

Hannah was SO excited when we told her we were visiting Santa. She was SO excited when she did activities with Jay while I waited in line.  She was SO excited when she saw the cool reindeer merry-go-round. And then she was SO scared when she actually had to meet Santa. : (  She wouldn't sit on his lap, but she did get a picture taken with Santa standing next to us, and she eventually told him she wanted "toys" and gave him a high five. We'll try again next year.....poor kid!

Getting Ready For Christmas

We spent the rest of Thanksgiving weekend getting ready for Christmas! Hannah loved decorating the house and the tree, and she really liked getting Elfie, our elf on the shelf, from Aunt Amy and Uncle Andy. That was a new tradition this year along with our past tradition of moving the teddy bear from room to room in the house (Jay did it when he was little, too). We had a great time and we're excited for Christmas!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with my family. We were with my aunt, my dad, my cousin Michael, and my grandma on Thanksgiving, and we celebrated with my mom, Alex, Kari, Bret, Hayden, and Kyler the next day. We had a great time with our family! Hannah even got to play in the snow for the first time this season.

First Present - Aunt Anne

Hannah's first present came in the mail a few days before Christmas (and now she thinks we are getting presents every time we check the mail!!). It was from my Aunt Anne, and she gave Hannah a cute little lamb that actually moves and makes noise, and a cute Christmas frog. Thanks, Aunt Anne!
